The Britannia Hotel, which opened in 1897, was Trondheim’s first great luxury hotel, and it has been synonymous with the very highest standards of service, comfort and cuisine ever since. Accommodation

Britannia Hotel has 247 rooms, of which 11 are suites, and 109 are deluxe rooms with extra good lighting and excellent facilities for work. We have refurbished all rooms to a high standard. The hotel has expanded its capacity in four refurbishment programmes, and now has a wide range of categories of rooms. Every room is special and well appointed with a thorough combination of timeless elegance and modern comfort. Trouser press, mini-bar, hairdryer, voicemail (telephone answering machine), radio and cable-TV are standard in all rooms. Many also have ironing facilities and a Jacuzzi. A number of the rooms have got an ISDN connection. Approximately half of the rooms are for non-smokers and have laminated wooden floors.
